AMANDA

Alex and I met through a dating app.  I liked Alex from the beginning because I liked his sense of humor.  The first question I asked him was what he would do with 400 pounds of cheddar cheese.  That’s when I knew he would be fun to talk to.  Our first date was to Ashton Gardens in Thanksgiving Point.  I took a friend with me to make sure Alex wasn’t a creeper!  On the way there, I asked Alex if he had ibuprofen and Claritin.  He said he did, but later I found out Alex stopped at the store to grab some before our date.  Alex is always so willing to go out of his way to help.  On leap day of this year, Alex proposed at Wheeler Farm.  We were doing a photoshoot when he surprised me by pulling out the ring.  (I had already looked for any signs of the ring, but concluded he was unfortunately not going to be proposing that day.)  We have many fun dating memories there, so it was the perfect proposal.  I’m super excited to marry Alex and to continue learning all about his goofy ways and his many interests.

I was immediately interested in Manda because she was funny and complimented me from the very beginning.  Even though Manda was about twenty minutes late to our first date and I thought she stood me up, it was the best first date I’d ever been on.  Manda always made the first move (holding my hand, saying I love you, talking about marriage) which is good because I’m always too scared.  After two years of dating, I feel like I’m still learning about all these new talents and quirks Manda has and believe me, she has a never-ending list of talents.  I’m so lucky to have someone who supports me in everything I do and takes such good care of me.  I have no idea what I’d do without this one.
